And I wouldn't say it "flopped", it currently has a lower loss rate than the T-90M, and they only got like 30 or 50 of them, while the US had 3k in the Gulf War alone. Thing is the Abrams is built with the NATO doctrine in mind in which air power is a huge factor. Ukrainian military doctrine is closer to the Soviets and that's an entirely different realm.
