When something great is up for a long time it raised the quality of the board. It sets the standard. With it gone people forget how much better they have to be to raise it higher. Spam, memes, whatever you call deliberate annoyance and cowardice make people save things for somewhere else. And they get forgotten. Opposition dictates output. They lose themselves. Lose a stream of output that defines them. Unearned attention solidifies the subject as small, stupid people shouldn't strive to be seen. Nothing to show or share so shutup and so have what exists already stay in the spotlight. Save something by it.
