Anyways, there are three out of 29 states who have declared themselves open defecation free, and a lot of states are expected to work towards the same goal. The prime minister is apparently going to make India open-defecation free by 2019 (which is a tall order and hardly anyone believes it). But hey, he has public support, and the money to do it, so who knows?
