E.g drugs, sex (also now a drug), TV, video games, performative moral righteousness (narcissism).
You can’t have a society that shuns human nature (tribalism, competition, selfishness) without also having an authority higher than the human as a guarantee, e.g a God.
The alternative to western civilisation is Islam or pre-Christian Greco-Roman tradition of the 20th century variety. E.g the opposite of Christianity, virtue in strength and bravery, Gods/nature that favour the powerful over the misfortune of the weak. I’m afraid Marxism comes under the umbrella of Christian values, and is therefore also baseless and requires social oppression in order to function.
