Depending on who you ask you'll get different answers, some people are in HOKK because they just want to prove they can do better than the previous team, some (like me) feel there's not enough honesty in the space, and turning a fallen project into something legit through storytelling feels really meaningful to me, it'd be amazing to see the day where those 70k holders are given a chance to recover the money they lost

It seems like that marketing stunt of sending Vitalik 50% of the supply wasn't that good of an idea, he sold everything. It put a lot of pressure on the team and the community, the later of which failed to deliver in their promises.
Eventually they ended up abandoning HOKK completely. It seems they tried to create a V2 contract at some point focused solely on utility, and through it somehow put the last nail on the coffin for HOKK

It's the same contract, same token! the only thing that has changed is that we updated the logo, and we also created a bridge to Base (paired to the Ethereum contract)
