My mother always told me my eyes are hazel,
and my driver's license even says that,
so I lived 30+ years without giving eye color a second thought.
Then these white LED lights come along,
and I take closer looks in the mirror and see that they're actually blue,
which causes my whole life up to that point to end up being like the Twilight Zone
because I can't tell if eye color ever really mattered, yet now it seems to.
