now, who is the one asking for attention, your inner self, or the self which you project onto this board, that self which we perceive? when you conflate the desires of that external self, what we refer to as a persona, with the inner self, then it is not a true desire, but a fulfilling of the persona, whose own desire can never be completely fulfilled because it is an illusory perceiving outside of your self. the fulfillment of the persona is the persona itself. ask your self what you really need, deny the persona for a while. the truth will reveal itself, given time.
