Nah, I used to interview and cocky mess was always a complete turn off.
Here's the reality: if I was recruiting for a position that required an actual professional qualification and relevant experience, body language, big tits and a nice ass were irrelevant if you didn't have the quallies.
If it was a position that required generic attributes, then I looked for people with a pleasant disposition who were slightly nervous and didn't give glib answers.

Most jobs these days have most if not all interviews done over phone or video these days. So looks and body language are not as important. But confidence and poise are even more important. Of course this stuff is all tied together but how you say it is just as important as what you say.

I did mine over Zoom. Before they could formally kick the interview off I was already getting to know the interviewers, boasting about my portfolio, making jokes, and learning about the position. I made all the points I wanted to before they could get to their material, then I allowed the discussion to continue. The lead interviewer (female) then said "well I guess we can go to our questions now" which made everyone laugh, the formality was literally a joke compared to our natural conversation. The questions were easy, one question stumped me but I looked up the answer while stalling lmao. Not even 5 minutes after the interview, they called me to make an offer saying the decision was unanimous, they offered 30% higher than my asking (pushing me into 6 figure territory) because "they really wanted me on the team"

OP-if you get the interview they know your technical skills are at or above par. They are vibe checking you in the interviews, pretty much. Most guys don't want to hire better looking men than them and most women do want to hire the hot guy if they can swing it in a light that makes them seem smart for picking the hot guy.

the last time I had a job interview it was in this giant room with these two women at a big round table and I didn't notice it until it was way too late but I was bouncing my right leg up and down like a jackrabbit which isn't something I have ever done before or since needless to say I didn't get the job

possible. the job I got in the end was done via Teams through COVID, whereas all the onsite interviews ended with a rejection.
that being said, I was already poached twice since then. it's only important during the first interviews, where you cannot prove your experience yet (your degree doesn't prove anything when even Shaniqua can get one), after that you will be judged by your performance on the job, specifically your ability to figure shit out by yourself and work without constantly needing someone to supervise you and micromanage everything you do.

Whats most important for a job interview is that you know the person interviewing you. You should have done an internship or apprenticeship beforehand, or whoever you worked before should have introduced you two.
Going to a job interview is an admission that you have know idea what you are doing.

Job interviews are very much like a date. The skills to succeed at one are exactly the same.

You have to look your best, care about what the other wants before your own interest, not look desperate or needy, etc.
Every time I've gone to an interview with this exact attitude, I've succeeded, often just getting the job on the spot.
