>>20265383Result of 90s and exposure to the western consumerism lifestyle during time of poverty. Also exposure to old school western feminism. Socialist feminism was: your role as a woman is to be worker, to build soviet country. Your role is to be comrade, to support party. Your role is to be mother, to produce more loyal citizens... duties duties duties, and you had to be diligent in ALL the areas, otherwise you are failure. The old school (not modern liberal) feminism of west was - it's ok to have career. It's ok to be mother. It's ok to be stay-at-home housewife (not allowed in socialism, that would be parasitic relationship! not productive!). It's ok to be politically engaged. It's your choice. Pick one, or as many as you want, but don't feel like you need to do it all. And many women found themselves in "wow, I can be housewife? give me that, I already have to do all this stuff on top of my regular work", and the goal is to find a man to support this choice, this lifestyle. There were even bimbo schools teaching women to have the proper skills, to become desirable trophy wives. And this culture stayed. It's career choice. What she is saying in the video is similar to how people complain about their employers "we don't pay overtime, you work overtime because you love the workplace, right?", "you managed to complete your tasks in half the expected time? great job, here is additional work", "you have great results, why do you ask? a promotion? maybe next decade, boss' cousin needs the management position, ok?". Why would she want to be YOUR housewife, if you cannot support that lifestyle? No work, no pussy.
