>>20279449that's a good, long life anon, keep the memories always. The worst pain i ever experienced aside from losing the irish wolfhound my parents got me when i was born and thus he was with me from the moment i could form memories, was when a 1 yr old rescue cat died. I had never been robbed before, it was the first pet I had out of quite a few that did not grow venerable and old. It was a searing loss that still makes me tear up years later. He was such a special cat, he would walk on your shoulders, but he had an even cooler trick, he would drape himself over your neck like a scarf and stretch his front and hind legs down over your chest while nuzzling your ear and purring while you walked around. It was such a beautiful display of mutual trust. Trust from him, but also trust from me that he won't slide off and slice open my jugular trying to catch himself or something lmao.
