Indrajit’s motifs make him almost exactly a Thraetoana, who is Odin in Norse mythology. So to unpack this we have to argue that Thor is mythically downgraded to Odin’s son after the story of his defeat in the Vanir war. In other words Thor used to be more Indra like but was downgraded in favor of Odin.
