Pentagrams aren't evil

No.20281442 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Why is the pentagram despised so strongly? It's not a symbol of lucifer/satan/hell/occult/etc whatsoever, it's literally a christian symbol that some other christians got butthurt over and started slandering a thousand years ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagram#Western_symbolism
Pre-abrahamic religion, it was used in Mesopotamia as a symbol of Ishtar the goddess of love, and Marduk a patron diety of some creation myths. It was used 5000 years ago by the Liangzhu culture of China. It was used in ancient Greece in 700BC to recognize good deeds and charity.

Its associations with satanism come from Henrich Cornelius Agrippa, a Renaissance occult writer who the Church hated the crap out of, and Eliphas Levi who was a french Catholic poet who believed magic actually existed. Before that the pentagram was associated with christianity, but for things that aren't occult at all like the 5 wounds of Christ, just another christian symbolism.

You literally fell for a Roman Catholic psyop.
