>>20288399It varies from person to person. It takes forever for some of us to mature, personally I'm slightly autistic and I don't age as fast. In late 30s but people assume I'm 25. If I dated someone "my age" it would look gross and like she was a massive cougar and it would kill my ability to have children with her in the future. I'm also invisible to women my age and normally hit on by 20-27 year olds, until they find out my real age and ghost. So that's a thing that's cool.
I dated an 18 year old when I was 26 for four years and no one cared, she looked and seemed slightly older than me most of the relationship.
It's really hard because as a man, you're goal is to get the most beautiful women who are 18 (haha) to 24, but the exchange is for having your shit together, which for some of us doesn't even happen until our 40s.
Like sure it's easy to get a high paying job in your 20s-30s if you are the most boring vanilla model of man that there is. But if you're a musician, writer, artist, free-thinking creative type, then you're edged towards the margins and you date the younger psychos who are into you.
I personally tried a traditional career path as a "day-job" but it's so bad in modern times that there's no such thing as a day-job that doesn't take the entirety of your energy and time and suck your soul out.
I'm rambling but age gaps are an indicator of disenfrachisement, and making it way later in life.
Most people are low empathy normies who don't get that and think you just want to dominate young puss and it's a power struggle, they can fuck themselves they'll never get it.
