>>20303265I never really cared because my blood always watches out for me and respected my room as my domain. If I wanted to do whatever in my room, I could, and I had the biggest one. My older brother had it first but he chose to move out.
I'll tell you this, living with my dad it was easier to buy multi-thousand dollar things with straight cash. Rent/mortgage doesn't allow people to truly save because something will come up that's gonna eat your savings because they don't build things to last and inflation.
Even before covid and lockdowns over 70% of Americans were already living pay check to pay check. That means they literally had no savings. they're spending all their money because they don't get paid enough to cover all the costs of living and still have money to save. Living with parents, you'll easily save half your pay check for yourself. Just save it until you can cash it. If more people did that the traction in the real estate market would crash destroying the parasites and since saving takes time the prices would fall to affordable levels where if you save money you can afford the house out right.
However, what do people do with their savings? Most don't save though. They get credit and then do a little bit above min to save against interest. People that do save spend it. Could be on a car. New gaming pcs. The best phones. high value firearms. etc.,
Instead of spending your twenties in vain. Spend it saving as much as you can and then get something with cash. People should start their adulthood lives without debt or wasting their time so they can be free.
Giving parents money is always a substitute for school unless there's something wrong with them.
