Personally i don't consider it as FUD. Humans only measure their wealth comparatively to others at instant T. It's always been this way, money itself is a standardized mean to measure men competing with each others.
So if the standard in your neighborhood is people starving and living under bridges, you are a fucking king if you have a wood shed and few chickens giving you eggs daily.

If silver can let say only allow us to keep our current standards of living while everybody around us is getting Liberia-tier of poor, then i'll consider silver made me rich, even if in truth i didn't get anything more (but a harem ofc).

I know I said I wouldn't add anything to the stack for a few months, but I was looking for a MT thaler in good shape at a fair price and found this store that also had a bunch of discounted coins, so I got everything at spot or even less (306 euros total). It's a small shop about postal stamps and some coins, which is why they don't update their prices too often hence the under spot silver. Also I think this is why they sealed all coins: they sell to collectors, not investors. Many of them are BU.

He's the author of some of the oldest screencaps that have been shared in /pmg/ for over 4 years. He used to post his cheap "junk" semeuses and the like, but like piles of Roosevelt dimes or generic bars that gets boring fast. The gains from numismatics are infinitely superior and they're much more interesting so he's rotated to posting that sort of material for the past year or so.

Oh fuck yeah!!! Those Miracle Whip jars are old, the one 2nd from left looks like it has "save cents with wheat on back" written in pencil? Hopefully some wheaties lurking in there. Middle star lid jar looks delicious and surely has silver in it. Not sure but most likely because we were both thalassocracies with a huge colonial empire around the same time. Lot of coinage must have circulated in trade posts in SEA/Antilles/Guadeloupe/etc.. I know France used to have big gold concessions around that time while Spain owned much more silver mines, there were probably a lot of metallic swapping. Just a theory.

I played a bit with french key words on ebay and i found 6 cobs auctions in just 10mn, all ending this week, i think we might be onto something fren!

Super interdasting, i don't think i've seen anything remotely looking like those yet, but i'll keep my eyes peeled for those.
