Is that a silver blade? Silver doesnt hold an edge very well but since its metal, as long as you have a very broad edge, the corner should remain sharp and very strong. The harder the metal, the more acute the blade angles can be.

My.angles r not precise but you can maintain the blades thinness by making the bevel a really small obtuse one, kitchen knives have a tall bevel sometimes leading to a micro edge bevel [thats still less broad than what i speak of]

40's steel la-z-boy recliner frame, started this aquiring a forge side quest to try to get away from mass produced/stainless/chinese bullshit tools so alot of my materials are going to be salvaged from the time america actually made good steel.
