>>20347331During Covid I got pretty fed up with society and stopped trying at my job. Had a girlfriend finally, and there was no reason to work hard when I was making way more from crypto trading. I would actually lose money whenever I tried focusing on work, because I missed trading opportunities or hold coins too long.
I kept putting off my work until eventually it was obvious I wasn't making any progress. They started having Zoom meetings about how I wasn't getting enough done. They actually wanted me to start emailing them at the end of every day with progress updates. But at that point I already made enough from crypto to retire, so I quit instead.
Gave two weeks notice after that meeting, then still didn't do any work during the last two weeks (why would I?). Boss was super pissed at me by the end of it, he even wrote a letter to HR bitching about me on the very last hour of my employment. They sent him a response saying he couldn't prove I wasn't working except on a couple days, but I never officially used my paid time off so they paid me for those days anyway.
Then I made them send me a t-shirt for working with them (something they offer to all former employees).
