>>20354598don't be so harsh on yourself. nobody is born an expert programmer. sometimes, i think it's just about trying your best and making things work even when it's not the professional way, macgyver style, cause no way we can override human imperfection. i wouldn't know, all i do is music, and creative ruts are the bane of my existence, likely because i'm stubborn and have an idea of what i want a song to be, and not letting it become what it wants to be. it's like relying on pure muscle memory and expecting the creativity to come, vs. letting the ideas come and listening to your intuition as to what works and what doesn't. i think the more we can tune into our intuition, the better it will help guide us when we fail to know where we're going ourselves, even if it doesn't match up with the more accepted and popular paradigm. our intuition will never fail us in the same way people will.
