>>2036151I can recommend you those that I play now:
-Commandos: Behind enemy lines: ridicuolusly hard RTT (real time tactics game), very challenging, only thing that you do more often than saving is loading savestates. Difficulty makes every smallest achievment rewarding as heck
-Touhou 6: Bullet hell that you probably heard of countess times already, for example Cirno is from the game. To put it simply, you fly arround with a loli shooting other lolis in faces with lasers. Surprisingly for me, as I thought I didn't like bullet hells, I actually like this game a lot. Mechanics are pretty simple, so it's not that hard to start, even with 0 earlier knowledge (as I did, I learned some really basic stuff long after I started). The game is pretty hard, yet pretty enjoyable, music is awesome. Artstyle may be a little weird, but the longer I see it, the more I like it for some reason
-OpenTTD: As the name suggests (Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe) it's all about laying down tracks, roads etc. The most enjoyable thing is to build nice railways which isn't always that easy because of things like terrai difficulties and unremovable obstucles.
All those games have pretty archaic graphics, but thanks to it I am sure they will run on your pc (my one is closer to a stationary calculator than to nowaday's gaming machine). You can also get them all or free*. Try them out, it does not cost anything (maybe with exception of having slight technical problems with Commandos: Behind enemy lines on newer ware)
*OpenTTD is the only one "truly free", but from what I know the creator of touhou said he does not care about western market, so you aren't doing any bad by just downloading it. Commandos: Behind enemy lines is still sold on platforms like steam, but that game has almost 20 years now, so I don't see why wouldn't you just download it. You can also get a bundle with all of Commandos series games for a small price
