Popularity ruined this website. 2004-2008 was a golden era of 4chan. Scientology raid in 2008 was Anonymous' big debut on the mainstream, with le hacker guy fawkes vids on YouTube and everything. Over the next few years, FOMO newfags flocked in as not to miss out on being part of the epic legion. This increased exponentially with Anonymous' role in Occupy Wallstreet in 2011 or so, and some other raids like the raids on Harry Reid for SOPA PIPA. By like... 2016 this site was unusable, with /b/ (the staple of the website) becoming unusable in the 2-3 years prior to that. As of 2024 it is a bot infested, propagandized shithole shell of what it once was. Full of normies and the like. The nu-oldfags are actually old-newfags who place the pseudo-ideologies and mannerisms of old-oldfags on a pedestal and perpetuate a SHIT culture of neetdom, autism, etc. Nu-oldfags will never compare to old-oldfags. These fucking losers ruined this site and continue to shit it up to this day. But I digress... Most already know your plague (i.e. porn esp of the degenerate kind, etc.). Fuck you all.
