In germany you are supposed to have learned a trade , got yourself a good job, a wife, 1 kid maybe, have your own house and work hard for the next 50 yrs, paying your taxes , stay in your shitty job and eventually die a miserable death.

I'm turning 25 soon as well, and I can sympathize with the feeling. I don't really know. American youth are developmentally stunted. My parent's generation were indulgent boomers, and very few of them are decent role models for how to compose oneself as an adult. They're more like old, fat kids.

I think being financially independent, having a plan for your future, and being civically/politically engaged are the minimum.
Specific accomplishments tend to rely too much on your circumstances, I find.

well I finished my professional education a month ago.. and could work right now but I kinda feel repelled by the thought of comitting myself in an employment ( I think I'll loose my independence by doing so, it is ridiculous I know)
