But growing up, especially by spending time online, I realized everyone was a fucking degenerate to some degree, furries only were brainwashed into being very open about it, and some others being very extremes

Like, furries spend their whole life as nerds, geeks, without friends, not enjoying the average teenage years that most people talk about : Drugs, alcohol, parties, sex, spending their hard earned money, stuff like that
Being deprived of all this, whenever they go into adult life, feeling like they've been missing out, some of them turn to the extremes as a way to cope
That includes, also, politics
The liberation of individuals and politics can only fuel this shit even further, and that, to me, is one of the many reasons some furries don't know where to stop, pick a NPC and throw him into why feels like a liberating cult, you'd have a high chance he'll come out as a believer
