My ear is clogged with wax, so I went to the doctor today to get them to irrigate it, and it was so clogged with wax, they couldn't get it all out, and told me to come back in a few days.

They basically take a giant syringe of water, and shoot it in your ear. They got some of the wax out, because I saw it: they make you hold a container next to your ear for the water to fall into. It doesn't hurt, but they didn't want to do it too much for fear of rupturing the ear drum.

i like putting hydrogen peroxide on a qtip and sticking it in my ear. it makes lots of fun fizzing and pop noises. i do that every few days and dont have any wax build up anymore

Know that problem. Every 6 months on the hour, i turn into a deaf person because my ears produce so much god damn wax, i could open a candle store.

I'm not certain that's the cause, but I get seasonal pain pretty bad when the weather turns warmer or colder every spring and fall. I'm too young to be in the age range where I should develop it naturally though, so I'm not sure.
For now I'm just recording my symptoms. I'll do something about it next year.

Get a clean frying pan. Put a handful of salt on it to heat it. (salt can absorb a lot of heat). Get a clean piece of rag. Put the hot salt on it and wrap it. Hold it against your ear. It will heat the wax inside, so it unclogs. If it doesn't work, repeat.

Very important: do it on both ears even if you think only one is clogged.
