I have over 1500 hours playing Civ V. It's been a long ride full of good memories but I'm looking for something different now, but still similar to Civ V. I've heard good things of Paradox games and I've narrowed it down to Hearts of Iron 4 and Europa Universalis 4. Which one would you pick and why? I'm a complete newbie at them, and I don't own these games either, but I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. (You buy Civ V Complete Edition and you get the full game with all DLCs, no more purchases required. I'm looking for something like that for EU4/HOI4 or any other Paradox/strategy game).
