America might have once been like how you think it is, but that time has long gone, its a dreary reality now.
None of our chain stores are good, they monopolized any competition and because of our shitty FDA are allowed to use a lot of "food substitutes" and chemicals which make things inpalletable and low quality despite its high price.
If there are any decent breakfast stores around its probably local.
You can try Panera bread if you really want a chain, but its overpriced and honestly I've worked there, its a bit better than normal fast food in the way starbucks is a bit better than Dunkin donuts, god, even Dunkin used to have somewhat alright quality at one point in time, everything really has gone to shit, I've seen them slowly change stuff for the worse even during the span I've worked in chains.
