The character is a very bohemic and free-spirited adventurer with little regard for authority or law. He spends his summers in the Moomin Valley, where the Moomins live, and he's the best friend of the main character. He's often a voice of reason and shares his wisdom with others. A just and wise character, but has an aversion towards all kinds of responsibility. He lives in a tent and spends his days fishing.
