But the whole thing about monogamy being a social construct, and everyone was just banging everyone in pre-historic times is a complete myth. There were two hunter-gatherer groups that were famous for not having any violence for generations. In both cases, the record was broken after someone cheated on her partner. In one case, the woman attacked the guy who cheated on her, and she was ostracized from the group after that. In the second case, the woman cheated on the man, and he responded by barricading the entrance to the shelter and setting it on fire and burning them both alive.
Monogamy/pair-bonding is natural, it's built in the brain, it is not a social construct, you're talking absolute bs
