>>20481533My biggest regret is probably being too shallow with women when I was younger (I'm 30 now). I'm 6'3", 185 pounds and have a fit/athletic body type. I'm decent looking in the face and have a normie job, but I'm good with money management. I also think I have decent morals and a strong willpower to hold onto those morals (I've never hooked up with a woman).
I got A LOT of attention from women in my late teens and early 20s, but I always thought I could do better, so I would dump women after a few dates over the most shallow reasons. One woman I dated had very similar morals to mine, she even wanted to be a housewife and have like 5 kids (which is what I wanted), she was also incredibly kind and even wanted to pay for our dates sometimes, but because she was slightly chubby and had crooked teeth, I dumped her like an asshole.
I regret that decision, but hindsight is 20/20. For all I know, she could've ended up divorce-raping me anyways, or maybe we would've died in a car crash or something. You'll never actually know what could've happened.
You just need to learn from your mistakes and move on. Seething isn't worth it, and in your case it actually sounds like you dodged a bullet.
My only other regret is probably not going to college. But, I was raised my entire life by my parents telling me that school was a scam and that investing was also a scam. Now, realizing as an adult that they're both complete broke/poor with no insurance and still having a mortgage and car payments in their late 60s should've been a warning, but you don't think about that when you're 16 years old.
