my hdd crashed a couple years ago, thank goodness I had several backups of the family photos and some very important stuff I couldn't possibly lose, but I lost a lot of not-so-important stuff including a lot of tv shows, and even though it didn't lose anything important it was a pain in the ass having to download everything again
at least I guess you're lucky you didn't lose anything important either if the first thing you listed was just movies
