What Putin was lucky at is that Prigozhin was alone. It's easy to fall for a misconception that Prigozhin was a highly unique character, an anomaly. But in reality what we can see is that wars of great magnitude always, as a rule, give birth to dime a dozen unique characters, charismatic vagabonds, young talented generals, diehard revolutionaries, it's just a common sense for people like Prigo get a spotlight during a war.
