>>2049343I don't wanna say /b/ or any board was good. But everything used to feel fun, separate, each board was a different 'gang'. Like cliques. But now it's all samey. Automated threads and posts. Dumb, unfunny jokes. Bait. 'Irony'. It's reddit without usernames.
It would be melodramatic to be a blogfag and say 'Oh, 4chan's not the same. It used to be cool. I'm leaving and you should all feel sympathetic. Boohoo.' But, now that I think about it, that's what I just did. It just felt good to finally write that someone was tired of how impersonal and guarded everyone is.
People act like if they same something retarded on accident they'll have a reputation. That they need to fit some sort of niche per thread.
Contrarian. Blind fanboy. Jaded fanboy. 'Intellectual'. Guy who posts smug reaction image. The guy that responds "include me in the screencap". Barneyfag. The guy who brings shit from previous threass. Tripfag.
Posters used to just say the first thing that came to their minds, now it's a contest for who's coolest. New posters think (You)s are upvotes. They think people will care after fifteen minutes, or remember what they said after the thread is gone.
I don't even understand why I keep writing this post. I said myself no one will think about it later!
What I'm trying to say is, no one has fun anymore on this site. /v/ ruined all video game discussion. /co/ made every show some retarded fetish shit. /tv/ keeps trying to give the bane meme CPR. And /bant/ has been overthrown by /jp/. Even the porn on this site is meticulously picked so no one gets mad at you for posting sub-par titties.
