>>20513580I must say I am most partial to various eastern Europen cuisines, unsurprising due to my ancestry. Especially sour soups made from sour dough, sour cream, mushrooms, saurkraut. Varioust kinds of borscht and shchi are the best. Also dumplings, either with sour or sweet filling. Russian pelmeni are great, as are Georgian khinkali or Czech leavened plum dumplings are also amazing.
Oh, and anything buckwheat, it's the best seed foodsuff known to man, and it's not even a cereal. Buckwheat bread, buckwheat pasta, even just boiled as kasha with butter. It's heavenly manna. Grass cereals are tasty but sus as fuck.
Best meat I ever had was an Italian osso buco on a bed of root vegetables though. Meds know how to do meat. East euros not so much outside of mince.
