My boss told me to go grab someone to help me and pick up a crate from this other building and drive it back here and it was this heavy as shit box. I ended up going alone but this guy there helped me lift it up onto the truck and I drove it back to our building and I didn’t wanna bother anyone there because I’m shy so I tried lowering it from the truck myself and I almost dropped it because it was so fucking heavy and I think I fucked up my back somehow. I feel this weird aching on my back and it’s a tiny bit harder to breathe.
And, no, I can’t ask for compensation of any kind since I went against my boss’s direct order to bring someone to help me so I don’t hurt myself like an idiot
