Double standards, dating and society.

Each year, society lowers the bar for women while raising it for men, if a woman is fat (something she can control) the narrative ask men to accept her. Because she is "thicc" and that's what "body positivity is about" but if a man is short (something completely out his control) then he is treated less than a subhuman.

As a millennial, I remember when dating your looksmatch was possible. But everything changed with Tinder, dating apps, and social media, which have given women a heightened sense of entitlement.

Now, even an average landwhale receives a flood of attention, while men are expected to constantly prove themselves and outcompete each other just for a chance at a date with an average woman. This is exacerbated by social media and dating apps, which create an environment where women receive endless validation and options, while men struggle to stand out in an oversaturated market.

In economic terms, this constant validation has led to a sense of "inflation" in the dating world. The average man now has to work ten times harder to attract a woman who has 20 times less value than their grandmother's (lets remember that back then even an illiterate farmer could marry a 18 years old virgin bride, something that is now reserved for the male elite)
