But there are seven different cases which change the declension of adjectives and nouns, which also change based on the gender and there are 5 grammatical genders because there's 3 different types of masculine because fuck you. And Duolingo doesn't do jack shit to help you learn declension so I have to rely on external resources to try and learn the declension patterns. And I'm only at the basic bitch baby part of learning the language so I'm sure things get a lot worse.

And the one nice thing about Polish is that words are always pronounced the way you think they are, it isn't like English where we don't have any consistency because we've adopted words from 10 different other languages but randomly decided on whether or not to keep their pronunciations or not
