A professional therapist can also help you try to get to some of the underlying issues as well, which brings me to
3. Porn addiction, like any addiction, is filling some kind of void in your life. I don't know you so I don't know what underlying issue you are self medicating with porn, but generally with all addictions the substance or in this case porn use is running cover for some other problem in your life. Maybe you're lonely. Maybe you didn't achieve the success you wanted. Maybe you don't feel attractive or desirable. It could be anything, but working to identify this and fix the REAL problem underneath will do wonders for quitting porn.
4. One thing that helped me immensely was meditation. Specifically, I used the hemi-sync program (pic related, that's a public google drive link)

The nature of this kind of addiction is such that seriously contemplating what is and is not acceptable for you personally is a necessity to making serious headway.

4. I really want to stress how huge meditation was for me. I think this was the single most important factor in making the progress that I have. I experienced things through this process that radically altered my perspective.
5. Never forget that it's about progress, not perfection. You will fuck up. You will relapse. But if you are putting the work in you will gradually improve. It took me about a year and half of serious work on this to reach a point where I'm now doing exceptionally well, but I got there, and you can too. I believe in you.
