I'm getting really, really tired of being the only young person in my temple. It's been one year and I never saw a man or woman my age visiting, the monks aren't trying to appeal to youngsters or italians at all. I'm completely on my own because they just don't fucking care even though I took the time and energies to learn about their culture and memorize their prayers. When I point this shit out online people are always telling me to shut up and be happy with myself but I just can't handle a life of self-imposed loneliness. I'm going to the Zen temple next and if it'll still be full of fucking old men then I'm moving to Orthodoxy which is arguably the closest thing to buddhism. This time it wasn't my fault, the monks are lazy as fuck and they're going to lose their best italian practitioner if they keep doing nothing about the issue.
