Let's examine where the claim "Netorare is the most popular tag among the Japanese audience" comes from and why it is not just misleading, but a complete lie. This image, which comes from "crazyforanimetrivia.com" (literally who?) has been circulating the internet for the better part of a year, getting millions of impressions.. for example, when it was posted to @MesugakiArchive on twitter and received over 300k views this morning. The article itself (https://crazyforanimetrivia.com/netorare-is-the-most-popular-genre/) has ZERO comments. The most recent twitter post on their official account, made 3 hours before Mesugaki Archive's post has 10 views. Basically, hundreds of thousands of people have seen this image and believed it without doing any of the most basic fact checking whatsoever. I am literally the first person to check anything about this claim. There are over 300k people today alone who just saw this fucking picture and thought, "wow that looks official or something, I guess it must be real".

So what does the article say? Basically, it's a summary of data from DLsite, a Japanese website for buying and selling doujin works. Let's take a look at that data, what it really says, and what mentally ill cucks have been lying to you about.
>TL;DR:
NTR isn't popular. At all. In fact, users of Japanese hentai websites would rather pay for porn than have free NTR eromanga.
