Has /pol/ read crossed? One of the most politcally incorrect comics?
While unfortunately shallow for most of the volumes, I think it points out an interesting flaw in human fears.
We ponder terrible hypotheticals; What if they will kill us? What if they desecrate our corpses? Conduct live experiments or torture us? What if they enslave us? Whether its AI, Zombies, Aliens etc.
These fears are only a reflection of what we know humans already do. And a projection of human evil onto the unknown. And rather than rectify our own problems, we work tirelessly to prevent any other being or inventions from truly acting like us.
