Same thing happened to me and I lost a lot of friends for just being straight. He formed a Loner Boner Group that targeted me and tried to sabotage any potential highschool relationships I might have had because if he couldn't have me, neither should I be happy in highschool.
Seriously if the vibe is now off because of him make sure you talk to your friends about him.
