If nothing exists, then that means something does indeed exist.
That "thing" being nothing.
Contrary, if something exists, that means that nothing does not exist.
Therefore, something always has to exist. All stems from that fact.
Nothing is quite exclusionary.

Lets explore this thought. Would you attest that somewhere there's nothing instead of something? In order to indulge this hypothetical place we have to establish that nothing is the absence of anything but since there's nothing, nowhere and at no place in time such a place doesn't exist even in theory whereas in places where things do exist they can be tracked, confirmed and observed. Even if you conceptualize nothing you've created something that exists as even ideas can exist so the idea of nothing is inherently self defeating.
In conclusion there's something instead of nothing because nothing can't be created nor thought of nor exist without something.
