Romanian people are tainted, you cannot inflict good without being attacked by them. Both legal and illegal forces will be used against you and ant evidence you bring will be declined to be used in court.
The problem with staying in prison is that romanian prisons are horribly overcrowded, where murderers sleep right in the same common room as those which didn't pay a small fine on time and the romanian tax police randomly chose to fuck them over instead of those which commit millions of euros in tax fraud.
After(if) you get out, you will also not be able to get a job due to having a criminal record. The economy here is quite shit, so much so that engineers and tradesmen get paid minimum wage or near it.
Minimum wage of 600usd pretax of which only 200usd is left of it aftertax. Same economy where rent for a unfurnished room starts at 300usd even in rural areas. Also same economy which didn't lose any land, whose population from 23.2million to 17.8 million in 34 years yet lodging and land prices surged for some reason while wages stayed the same.
Check pic for average romanian prison conditions, the usual meal is boiled cabbage and they have cold water showers once a week. The prisoners rely on handouts(or mafia connections) to get clothes as the prison does not issue them.
