>>20668204>I like pre-Islamic Persia and even though the muzzies stole much of their learning from Persian civilization, it bugs me that a cultural power was taken down by stinking camel jockeys.I am not Persian, but I love Pre-Islamic Persia and, like you, I am annoyed that such a great civilisation was destroyed by stinking camel jockeys. But I guess it was fate, the Persians were exhausted from almost 700 years of war against the Romans (and later Byzantines) which made it easy for the Arabs to launch a surprise attack against the Persians. I respect my Persian brothers and the greatest thing I have in common with Persians is our love for gaining knowledge simply for the sake of gaining knowledge. I have said for a long time now that so-called 'Islamic Civilisation' is just Iranian Civilisation with the religion of Islam superficially attached to it. Everything good about Islam comes from Iranians (ESPECIALLY Persians), like architecture, music, philosophy, cuisine, poetry, art, etc. At least 90% of all of the inventions, discoveries and achievements in general of the so-called 'Islamic Golden Age' come from Persians. The entire Islamic World is filled with elements of Persian culture (some of these elements are subtle, while others are obvious). Furthermore, the Persian language was spread as far west as Algeria via the Ottoman Empire (which was a Persianate empire) and as far east as Bangladesh via the Bengal Sultanate (which was another Persianate empire). Also, Saladin was a Kurd (and Kurds are Iranic people) and Saladin ruled places like Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem, Iraq and Egypt. I abhor Islam, but I can't help but admire how Persians Persianised Islam. Iranians are described in the holy books of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Muhammad himself said "If knowledge were suspended in the highest heavens, the Persians would attain it.".
