>>20693895I'm a legitimate competitive ballroom dancer and I can tell you right now that this woman needs to be thrown into a woodchipper.
Sure, SOME salsa lessons have a lot of awkward people show up, go figure. I can think of at least 3-4 weekly classes in my area that are pretty full of awkward people of both genders stepping on each others' toes, being generally weird about touching one another, and forgetting to shower. But the thing is, those sorts of classes are usually the jumping off point for more genuine involvement, and the scene needs men desperately. We can handle a bit of awkwardness, that nonsense typically gets buffed out in a year or two.
Not to strawman too much, but I know exactly this girl's type. She's probably a thoroughly mid-quality and middle-aged dancer who likes to be led through whatever makes her ~feel pretty~ by relatively talented leads. As a result, she's almost certainly developed an undeserved superiority complex about her own (barely-existent) skills. She's the kind of girl who floats around different weekend events, being tricked into bed by somewhat-okay leads, and generally oblivious to the fact that she's glorified mid-tier fuck-meat for a bunch of manlet Latino dudes who all wear skinny jeans, hats (to hide the bald spot), and those stupid Fuego shoes.
But the real answer is probably they're just pajeets, as
