midwest is probably the whitest in america because people are conservative and you don't really "think about your whiteness" for two reasons because there aren't that many minorities and you can spend most of your life without interacting with them and because "kill yourself and end your bloodline for being evil and white" is not seen as a virtue here because many people are poor and built towns and cities from scratch without slave labor.
