You don't sound bad at all though. You sound Russian definitely but this is not an issue. People are not very judgmental of Russian accents in general. It would only really be over if you were Indian or Chinese or something. In the west people are still very subconsciously racist but Russian accents are not bad to them. I can understand you fine.

That's definitely a good way to practice pronunciation and get a feel for the rhythm of conversation. If you don't already, you could find people online to voice call with and you will slowly pick up a more native sounding accent over time.
