Scholar of ancient manuscripts (translations from the original Greek) points out that Jesus had 12 children disciples, not adults and that the night Jesus was arrested he was found in the company of a near naked child wearing only a piece of linen. Sounds crazy right? I checked it out. It’s all there in Mark 14:51

It’s the opposite you nigger. At least partially. Latin was the common language (in the regions that spoke it) and greek was the language of higher learning and the elites. It was like that in the byzantine empire where the role of the languages switched (because greek was native to its lands), but that was 500 years after Jesus. Judea was an exception because it was part of the hellenistic world even before roman conquest and neighbored greek powers from all sides, which made greek very common as a spoken language.

Presumably Matthew and John were late teenagers or in their early 20s when they met Jesus.
They had to have been in their 90s when they wrote their gospels.
They were written.about 70 heads after Jesus died.
