I don't go to that site and never think about it outside of posts like yours. Makes me wonder how often you go there..
Anyway, Roko's Basilisk is a really fun thought experiment and led me down a simulated universe type spiral of reading for a few nights. I don't really put a lot of weight into any of this, though, since deep down all just a coping mechanism to deal with how boring and mundane everything really is.
