It's their formation that is unsettling, and when it has the players that perform, they literally score, and are all over the teams they play against. All over them in a sustained onslaught that scores consistent goals.
Their formation is causing far too many problems for defensive sides trying to make a break for it.
The French thought they'd be clever and make some subs in the last minutes to turn the game around and score. They aren't getting around them. Unlike at the beginning of the match most teams have on the break.
