>>20761424This is why I will never drive anything smaller than a full size 1/2 ton pickup truck or equivalent SUV. After a recent accident I had while going about 60mph through a green light when a Ford Escape facing the opposite direction tried to turn left (about 15-20mph) and caused a head-on collision. Thankfully my truck was a Chevy Avalanche with a bull bar bumper 3 inch lift and 32" offroad tires. Sent their vehicle into a 360 degree spin into the middle of the road and although absolutely smashed from hood to dash my vehicle was able to roll safely into the ditch before the engine started smoking and needed to be shut off.
Long story short, these people will fucking kill you out on these roads and the absolute only way to be safe is to have the power of momentum on your side.
